Aw, this is no good, he's obviously lip-synching it!
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite country artists.
My parents got their first stereo phonograph (a little Silvertone with the speakers built in the top cover, I still remember) when I was a kid and the first LP they bought was Marty Robbins, with El Paso, Big Iron, The Alamo, etc.. I think the LP might have been the Gunfighter Ballads LP but not sure. That LP made an impression on me that lasts to this day.
RIP Marty, you are missed by many. |

check out the other version of el paso from 1960, no lip sync here marty and 2 other guys doin background. also check out singin the blues, some nice non pedal with a quick shot of the steel player. 1:47 seconds of some old fashion country music. yea baby!!! |
