Could someone please tell me what, if any, is the difference between the " Burr Brown" mod and the "Le May" mod for the Peavey NV 112 ?
I am after getting my amp `doctored` and would like to know what is what.....ie is one mod more `extensive` than the other....are different chips used...ect ect.
Thanks in advance for any responses. _________________ Glyndwr

We have offered the Peavey mod kits for the following amplifiers;
Nashville 400
Session 400 Limited
Session 500
Vegas 400
Profex II Preamp/Processor
Here is a link to the above kits from our website;
http://www.peavey.com/support/steelguitaristinfo/
Since the Nashville 112 and 1000 models have the same preamps as the Nashville 400, they already have the Peavey tone mod kit incorporated into the circuit. The Peavey modification kits include Burr Brown IC's which offer a clearer and cleaner signal that its predecessor. However, since we do not offer a tone mod kit for the Nashville 112, you can still purchase the Burr Brown IC's from our Parts Department here at Peavey. If you will contact me toll free at 1-877-732-8391, ext. 1180, I will be glad to assist you.

There is no Lemay mod for the NV112 that I'm aware of. The only "mod" is that some people, on their own, are installing Burr Brown OPA2604 chips in the preamp board instead of the original chips. As Mike Brown noted there is no Peavey "mod" for the NV112.
Many like the change, I did it to mine and didn't like it and went back to the original chips, as my Nashville 112 did not sound like a Nashville 112.
