Hi, I'm Don Welch from Humble, Texas. I play a Carter S-10. I've been playing off and on for about 40 yrs. I like the classic steel guitar sounds of the 1960's best.
I'm a member of the SETSGA group that meets in Katy, TX. I'm also a member of the TSGA, and try to attend the Dallas shows.
I'm also new to the computer, and still trying to figure out how to navigate the web.

welcome don....
I am a fellow texan....near SAM RAYBURN Lake...
can get around on computers/internet.....
not as good on steel...play dobro mostly or lap steel....playing reg guitar for 40 years..but have only recently started playing again...would love to attend one of the katy sessions...mostly to listen,
i need to learn more before playing out...

Welcome to the forum. I live out in Stafford, TX (SW Houston) I have played at the past 2 SETSGA meetings. Have we met? Hope to hear ya play there sometime.
