I'm using Nero Ultra V7 (latest edition). It is a full feature CD/DVD package, not just DVD but Nero is what a lot of "techies" use and recommend. |

I use the Nero that came with my new DVD/CD burner, has all I need. Only problem with V7, it takes over all your sound files, also some of your jpg files. I'm sure there's a way to bypass this when you install, I just didn't thimk to look for it. _________________ Bill Ford S12 CLR, S12 Lamar keyless, Misc amps&toys Sharp Covers

Bill, there was options for what Nero is the "default" player or viewer. I do not allow Nero to be the default player or viewer for anything.
You can go into the programs that you want whatever type of file to be the default and change it.
Another option would be to uninstall Nero, restart Windows, then reinstall it and this time do not allow it to be the default.
"Taking over" is not just something that Nero does. Many programs, if you are not careful, will do the same thing. |
