Gerald Ross and Doug Smith had a lot to do with getting the Hawaiian room going in the very beginning, and they should be recognized for their efforts.

As far as I know they have both decided not to be involved with the show.
We were sorry to lose them.
No one is paid for this show and I'm not sure if that was an issue or not.
Nevertheless, we will miss them.

I am sorry that Gerald and Doug are not involved with the show in 2006.

I was admonished for my comments praising the participants in the 2004 show for giving too much credit to LT, who I was told was the moving force behind it.

May I say, that whomever has been responsible for this annex to the St Louis Show, that they deserve many credits for a job well done.

Gene
I remember who admonished you.
Thanks for your support.

Gerald and Doug were in the loop right from the start. We appreciated everything they did toward promoting the Hawaiian Steel Guitar.
They chose not to be involved, we had nothing to do with that.
As I said we will miss them.
They were a big help.

L T works tirelessly on these shows, it takes a lot of time and effort to schedule all of these great players and get all of the other details in line.
I'm so sorry if someone don't like the way we do it.
We try to be fair.
