Jim Warren posted this at www.reso-nation.org

"I am looking for a Mosrite model Dobro that used to belong to Ralph Jones.
His granddaughter was wondering who has it, and if it is being played.

It is unique as it has/had a padlock hasp loop on top of the peghead to
hook the strap into. The neck was badly warped the last time I saw it,
about 1985, which was typical of these guitars. Unknown ser. number...

It was sold by a Dave Nicholson of Valatie, N.Y. to someone unknown
about 15 years ago. Anyone seen it ????????
No, it is not a stolen instrument. The family is just curious where it is today.
Ralph used to play with Wilma Lee & Stoney Cooper, The lilly Bros. Don Stover,
Bob & Grace French,Clyde Joy, and others. He passed away tragicly in a fire in 1987.

If anyone has info I'll pass it on to him.

I have one, but I don't think there's any evidence of a hasp staple for a strap. It did have a standard strap button on the bottom of the headstock which may have been standard on the MoBro's.
