i have a buddy that needs a tuning key for a late model americian telecaster the shaft came out of it and the dealer told him he'd replace it but thet it would take two months to get it from fender.i just thought someone may have one laying around somwhere.if so e-mail me and let me know how much . |

Jerry i think so i really didn't look real close but it doesn't have any screws on the rear just held on by the nut on the shaft if that helps? |

Lee, I have one that he can have. Just send me a mailing address and I'll get it shipped out, no charge as I have an account I can use for it. I believe it's what you're looking for as there are no screws into the back of the headstock but just a couple of small protrusion which hold it in place and then the threaded nut with washer goes through the front of the guitar. The one I have came from a 1983 Telecaster and they're still using the same pegs a lot...JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |
