AJ did an absolutely beautiful job on my Professional. He was apparently the finisher at the original Sho-Bud & knows his stuff. I think he's probably pretty swamped though as he does so much work for Duane Marrs. Michael, I'm sure you're probably familiar with his work (you were just inquiring about his ph. #) but for anyone that wants to see some, any of the Duane Marrs refurbs that are posted on Ricky's House Of Wood that were refinished were probably done by AJ. Mine is posted there but the pics aren't really very close up. Anyway, when I find another junker I'll send it right off to him. |

Glad you guys had good luck. My PRO II was not so lucky. If I had known that would happen I would
have left it original. _________________ Bill |

If you had known what would happen? Is it something that could be corrected? I can only imagine. |

What are you talking about Bill? A.J. is one of the best and has done more cabinets than anyone else in the industry. He did the sunburst finish on my push/pull above about 7 years ago and it is still perfect. (The guitar that is, not my playing!) |

When AJ removed the old finish he left sand paper
scratches in the wood. Even cross grain scratches
on the front. Every scratch shows through the finish.
It could be fixed by taking it down to the wood and refinishing again. AJ didn't want to do that. I had high hopes of having a first class Pro II
with Coop doing the rebuild. I will still have a Coop
rebuild but will have to play it in a dark room !! Like you guys, I thought I was having the best do my guitar. Didn't work out for me. _________________ Bill |
