I have a 1972 P/P,I have two questions.

1. I have a couple of tuning keys that are getting real slopply, where can I get some that match ? ( I can take a picture of them if I need to)

2.Did Emmons ever make white fret boards like some of the old Sho-Buds had on them ?

Wade, we have the same guitar ( i also have a '72 p/p) and i have the same issue. real sloppy tuners. does yours have the dual line klusons? similar to those on a tele? i'm trying to hunt some down too so if i find 'em i'll let you know. i'd bet that Mike Cass or Bobby Bowman would have some.

Stewart-MacDonald guitar supply sells repro Kluson tuners that are very well made, not expensive, and should fit using the same mounting holes. I know they have oval knob ones, not sure about "butterfly" style.

I have redone a couple of guitars, with the tuners from Stew Mac, they are Gotoh repops of Klusons, I even think there better, they have a different ratio, that gives you a finer tuning.
Like, Wade and, Dave I had sloppy ones on each neck, but I changed out all of them.
I swear it also helped out the sustain.
