I swapped out the stock canadian pot in a Goodrich 120 and found the top end ( the last quarter or so) of the sweep to be fairly flat.
Anyone notice the same? |

Gavin, I replaced the pots on my Sho-Bud volume pedals with the Dunlop pots. I've only played in my music room, but so far I'm completely satisfied. I do adjust the action to where the pot is wide open when the pedal is completely depressed. This might not be what most guys do but I've done this for quite a few years.

Gavin, on the Godrich 120, the case of the pot hits against the pedal housing to form one end of the travel stop. Since the Dunlop pot's case is a little smaller than most other pots, it will allow the pedal to travel a little farther in the Goodrich application. If you increase the thickness of the rubber stop, you restore the total pedal travel to the original sweep distance. You will then have a little more room to adjust the action of the pot at the end of it's travel. With a little more work, you could also swap the pot's outside wires and mount it backwards or move the pot mounting bracket to the other side to move the heavy log taper to the other end of the pedal's travel.
