I caught a new post here a week or so ago and linked to YouTube and watched three videos from the station Inn in Nashville of the Time Jumpers. One of the best DVD's I've seen in a long time. Superlative musicianship and singing. WWW.thetimejumpers.com.
John Huey is AWESOME. C6 at its best and the sweetest E9th you'll ever hear. His Zum Steel sounded amazing and his bar work absolutely delightful. He does an instrumental called 'My weakness is too strong'. If this playing doesn't move you, you shouldn't be playing the steel.
27 tracks of the best music, from jazz, western swing, country, it's all there and played live with great close camera work. No re-takes, no editing, the real thing played by masterful musicians.
GO GET IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT.....

I was at John and Lynn Farrell's house at The Lake of the Ozarks a couple weeks ago and our dear fiddle playing friend,Tony Smith, brought over the DVD of the "Time Jumper's". I was blown away by what I saw. Such talented people playing my kind of music. Everyone one is a great player in his own right but they work so well together to make the group sound good. "Pappa" John is absolutly burning it up. This is a must see for everyone. I have to call John and order my copy pronto. Great job guys and gals and don't you ever stop. Bobby

I received my copy and played it through twice! During one of the interviews, one of the players stated that they had only had one rehearsal in seven months which I find amazing. Most groups will never achieve this level of tightness or musicianship ever. BUY THIS DVD if you like Western Swing done to perfection.

I've watched this DVD several times already. Everybody on it is great. I especially like John Hughey and Dawn Sears.
