A friend of mine, Hugh X. Lewis, called me tonight. His roofer buddy has always wanted to learn to play pedal steel and asked Hugh if he knew where he might find an inexpensive one. I told Hugh I would ask here. If anyone has one in the grand-ish range, let me know so I can let Hugh know about it, please. _________________ Mikey D... H.S.P.

Check out the new Jackson Blackjack. I think it is an amazing steel for under $1000. I had a chance to play one and it had a great feel and a great tone.

I played the same Blackjack that Mike played at Perl-Jam this weekend and I'm thinking about getting one for myself to keep at my office, it's a great value.
