I got several emails that all conflicted with each other. So, I called and spoke to Ron and he said I have the wrong serial number for the specific guitar I am looking at. However, he did say that all the ALL PULL legrandes have an L at the end of a three digit serial nnumber. This particular serial number, 038L is a D-10 Legrande, Black 8X5 that went to Billy Coopers in 1983. This is information I got from Ron over the phone yesterday. Since I am looking at a red single neck, the owner probably mis-red the serial number when he gave it to me. I say that because Ron looked at the pictures of the guitar I am looking at and he confirmed that it is an early all pull SKH guitar.....James |

I figure "One good turn deserves another".
So here it is.
Three months ago, I sent an email to the Emmons Company with the same question.
Let me say, I found the Emmons Company, particularly Mrs. Lashley, to be extremely helpful and highly professional. They know & practice great Customer Service Support!!
Moreover, their record keeping is impeccable. This says a lot to me, being in the Airline industry, where accurate record keeping is not only professional but a Federal Law.
I gave them information and the serial number, 077L on my Emmons D10, SKH.
Voila!! It was built in May of 1983. Not only did they date it, they were even able to tell me to who and where it went to. Further, everything about all its relevant specs when it left their shop.
Needless to say, I was throughly impressed.
It was & is a pleasure dealing with people who care about "their company" and "their customers". “Nuff” said!! TX
