The restaurant is called EL ARCO IRIS It's address is 5684 York Blvd., in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles. The dates are April 21 an 22. The players slots are filled, but everybody is invited to come and watch and listen and mingle and join us for lunch.

FROM ORANGE COUNTRY AND SAN DIEGO :

5 freeway north to the 110 towards Pasadena. DO NOT GET OFF AT THE 710. THIS FREEWAY DOES NOT TAKE YOU ANYWHERE NEAR THE RESTAURANT. Take the 110 north to MARMION WAY/Ave. 64. Bear left on the off ramp, and turn left on Ave. 64 to York Blvd. (There is a sign at the off ramp with an arrow pointing left to York.) Make another left on York. The restaurant is about 3/4 of a mile from the freeway, on the left hand side of the street. Your landmark is a McDonalds on the other side of the street, one block before the restaurant.

Your landmark is a McDonalds on the other side of the street, one block before the restaurant.

Please bear three things in mind.

1- The restaurant is giving us the use of it's banquet room for free, but they expect us all to order our meals from them. Please don't bring any food from the outside.

2- The Parking lot is extremely small. The restaurant's owner has asked that after we unload our gear, we all move our cars and park on the street. This is not a problem. There is more than enough parking on the street for all of us

3- The room itself doesn't have a lot of AC outlets. If you have a spare power strip or strips please bring it/them.

Yes, I will. I'll bring a box full. (I have over 800 of them in my garage)

This year's line up looks to be pretty exciting. Among the players who will be attending will be Frank Carter, Blackie Taylor, Billy Easton, J.D. Maness, David Wright, Doug Livingstone, Chas Smith, Mark Switzer, Al Vescovo and of course Jim Baron. This will be Blackie's first time at one of these things, and I'm really looking forward to finally getting a chance to pick wit him after all these years.

Once again, I invite everybpdy within driving distance to come and listen.

Set up is at 10:AM. (of course few get there that early, but the earlier, the better.)

We start playing when everybody is set up.

We usually go from 11 AM to 5 or 5:30 PM with a lunch break. We have the room all day tomorrow so we can go longer if we wish.
