Here's Rick with his backup band 'The Casteels' - Barb Kuhns - ukulele, Gerald Ross - guitar and Floyd Alexander - bass at the 2005 HSGA Joliet, Illinois convention performing 'Across The Sea' (scroll to the end of the page).

Nice job Rick! Smile

I AM SURE WE WILL SEE YOU ON STAGE AGAIN - RIGHT?

Good job Rick, I love the tone of that guitar, abosulutely beautiful and you make those harmonics look easy, guess I need to pratice them some more.

Absolutely beautiful. Rick, your playing there has a soulful quality that not everyone achieves. You're a great builder AND player!

Rick, you have a wicked vibrato that I have tried to emulate but my hand just gets sore/tired (I am not joking).

And just think Rick is wanting to retire!! Sad

My music commentary: His anticipatory anxiety is bringing out the proper amount of vibrato ossicilation with a kind of Ionasque quality to the sound of the steel.

Good job and tone Rick.

Aloha, Smile

Don ... the MD in charge of my lunacy told me about Deep Brain Stimulation ... where electrodes are implanted and controlled via a little control box.

Shows promise w/ OCD, Tourette's, etc.

I'm just worried about it causing RF issues with my steel guitars Wink .

I mean, the shielding on my pickups is very good, but .. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Seriously, y'all have been very kind here and over on the HSGA Forum ...

And it's greatly appreciated (more than you know) Very Happy

At least there is a cure. Wink

So now we will look forward to your total rehabilitation and enjoy years of your music to come. Cool
