Quite some time ago,(1 yr +).?? Forumites were trying to figure out who played the steel guitar on the sound track of "Donavan's Reef". Several names were mentioned. Barney Isaacs and a few others. Has it ever been established who the steel player was? I don't believe the musicians were listed in the credits.

To the best of my knowledge and as I recall it was Barney Isaacs doing the beautiful steel sounds on that movie , one of my favorites !! It still plays occasionaly on the "John Wayne" Weekend Movie specials !! "Eddie "C" ( the old geezer )

I have the VHS tape of that movie, mostly for the steel music of Barney, on Waipio and Pearly Shells.
