I am listing this for my long time pard, Rick Sharp. This is a nice 1980 Emmons LaGrande SKH D-10 with 8 floor pedals and 4 knee levers. Serial # 111L. Standard Emmons set up. Includes a Thomas Custom 25th anniversary case. Price: $2695.00 plus shipping. Guitar is in Dandridge, TN. Rick's email is: stratomonster@earthlink.net
Telephone: 865-397=4649 or cell: 865-748-4080

I have played this steel on many occassions and found it to be a "dandy"! ISGHOF member Walter Haynes has also played this steel and agrees that it is a great sounding guitar.
Donation will be made to the Forum when steel is sold.

Thanks for looking,
Tommy Minniear

Lordy,
I wish I had the money to get this baby. IMHO, I think they were the best sounding all pull system that Emmons ever made and can be adjusted to play mighty fine.
For now, I'll just have to dream about it and keep wishing.
I'd be willing to barter someone a life time of repairs , rebuilds, add ons, tune ups, adjustments and such on any and all of your guitars to get this guitar. Email or call if your are interested.

Bump for a great guitar. My SKH is number 094L and is a beaut'. They sound sweet as a nut, smooth to play, never break strings and will always hold their value, hold tune, and they're not too heavy.Do you get the impression I like mine ??? YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I DO??
A classic steel.

Hey Jim,
I think they are the LXR-16. I'll find out for sure or put up a close up photo.

As b0b now also knows - SKH is short for "Short Key Head". These are the first-issue Legrande all-pull guitars.

I love mine, 200L-series serial number, a bit later, I believe '85. I put an LXR-16 on the E9 neck of mine - it just brought that neck alive. The pickups in these pics look just like that one on mine. If I had the dough right now, it would be on its way to PA so I have one set up at home and one packed ready for gigs. This one looks to be in beautiful shape.
