Anyone have any information about Gino Bordin who recorded in France in the 30s? I know about the CD reissue. Also, anyone have contact info for French bottlenecker, Cyril Lefebvre? Thanks.

Merci, CrowBear! I don't speak French but Google does.
Many thanks. I'm researching a potential article.

Here are four detail pics of the Selmer 7 string Hawaiian guitar (scroll all the way to the bottom) Two of the pictures are dark, unfortunately. Could have used Howard's backlighting tips.

I always thought one of these would be so cool to have. Or to have someone like Hodson custom build.

Lucky fellow(?) What a coup!

I really like the few examples of Bordin's work that I have. I look forward to your article.

That was an interesting thread. I'm a huge Hot Club fan myself! (I think there are a lot of us here.)

Andy, a French Fo'bro named Fulvio, tells me that Mike Lewis from Fine Resophonics is a good contact for Cyril Lefevre

Get in contact with Mr Charle in Paris : www.rfcharle.com
He knows all about Bordin, the 7 string Selmer and the CD edited by Cyril Lefebvre :
Paris, Plages d'Hawii
which contains tracks by Bordin and other french artists of the 30's.
