Is Dick Sanft playing a Fender Custom on the two recordings with links on the HSGA web site? This is a very good sound __ like Jerry Byrd with a little more treble.

If my memory serves me correctly he said he recorded that album on a Magnatone double or triple.

As I recall, I believe Dick told me that too when I asked him. I forgot to ask him what kind of amp he was playing through though -- D'OH!
