Donny,
My gospel tab isn't all that difficult. I can e-mail you a list of what's available, if you'd like. I have close to 200 different gospel songs tabbed out in E9th, at present. |

Thanks everyone for your help. Have received tab books from Erv Niehaus and Doug Beaumier. These should do me for awhile but will keep Scottys in St. Louis, in mind for later on.

CORRECTION -- I have received tab books from Herb Steiner Music and Doug Beaumier. Understand that Erv Niehaus has mailed a tab book to me but I have not received it just yet. It will probably arrive in the next few days.

Thanks everyone. I now have Southern Gospel tabs from Erv Niehaus, Herb Steiner, Doug Beaumier, and Ricky Stephens. Additionally, have ordered tabs from Scotty's in St. Louis. Believe I have enough to last me awhile. Now, if I can just learn to play them.
I really appreciate everyone's assistance, and support. This is a great forum.
May God Bless You,
Donny |

Hi Erv,
I've got your list on my other pc, (happens to be "tired" at the moment). Would you have Just A Closer Walk With Thee? If so, I'll take it. You've my address. Your songs are really making this psg seem accessable. Notice, I didn't say easy..but they have upped my learning capacity considerably. Thank you so much.

Robert,
I didn't realize the differences either until I really got into tabbing out gospel songs. There are some gospel songs in the South that haven't made it to Minnesota. Such as "Sweet Beulah Land" or "Ten Thousand Years".
And visa versa, in our old Swedish Baptist hymnal, there are songs that were translated from Norwegian that I'm really sure aren't heard south of the Mason-Dixon line.
I love them all!!! They're the Lord's music. |

I really didn't know. I thought it had to do with all these Gospel groups in the Bible Belt. By the way you live in a beautiful place. I spent 6 whks there in the winter of 76 |

So far, I've tabbed out a total of 288 gospel songs.
I'm going to be playing several of them at our church's Good Friday service.
The Lord is good! |
