Flo & Eddie are always good for a laugh.

Great stuff...!
Mark Volman (Flo) is now teaching "music business" at a local university; going by this clip I'll bet the classes are pretty entertaining! He also showed up singing a few Bob Dylan songs at a recent "all star tribute to Highway 61" night (with Al Kooper playing organ...) |

Mark and Howard were always great for a laugh, but this stuff isn't really schtick, per se... just extremely candid, de rigeur stuff for the music biz.
Somehow a Hunter Thompson quote about shallow trenches and running dogs comes to mind right about now. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

That is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Classic rock and roll reality story. I know someone going through this in Los Angeles right now. I warned her. People always ask me why I never pursued past opportunnities to play with some of the bigs. You can keep the whole thing. Give me a beer at Fred's Hillbilly Heaven and my own bed to sleep in. I still listen to you Flo and Eddie. |

Yeah, what tv show are they refering to? Do they mean actors in it? I'm thinking Friends? That show was #1 a few years back. _________________ -johnson |

I can no longer see ANY videos on Youtube.
The Ministy of Information Technology
has blocked the WHOLE Youtube site,
because ONE video was deemed in
"Lese Majesty" of the King here.
I don't want the King insulted at all,
but still this is grossly unfair to
all other users of Youtube here.
No more classic country videos, no more great jazz.
And the King was a fine jazz player himself.
If only these "technicians" actually knew
how to block just the video and not the whole site.
It's possible they just couldn't figure it out
so bye bye Youtube. _________________ DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."
