| I am looking for a Bay Area based lap steel tech. who could help me update my 1941 Vega. This guitar is cosmetically pristine, but needs both a new tone and volume pot. I probably would also change the tuners. Any guidance is appeciated. |

I've had work done before by Gary Brawer. He's done work for Joe Satriani as well. Farther south, Gryphon Stringed Instruments has Frank Ford.
Either of these gentlemen will do a fine job on your lap steel. If you need other recommendations, please let me know.
