Also check out Ivo Popasov. Incredible accordion player he usually has playing in his Bulgarian Wedding Band.

...and Japan's "coba" Yasuhiro was endorsing Roland's V accordian a couple years back.

No "Lady of Spain" here although I'm sure he's probably quite familiar with it, recently noted for his work on the Bjork Homogenic CD.

And then there is the story of the accordion player who stopped in to a local one night for a cocktail after a gig. He was tired and though he knew he should not do it, he left his accordion in plain view in the back seat of his car while he went in for his drink. After a couple he was walking back to his car and as he turned the corner, just as he had feared, he could see that the rear window was broken. He reached his car and peered inside and sure enough, someone had shoved another accordion into the back seat.

One of the gigs that keeps me busy these days is playing accordion in a cool zydeco band.
And let me tell you...the accordion is the babe magnet for the new millenium....
