What a fine piece of jewelry! Looks REALLY NICE and I'm confident it plays exceptionally fine. So happy to see that you haven't given up all together. Your creativity far outshines the olde Rickenbacher configuration.

Schweet Rick! I dig the satin 'arruminum' and textured black look.
I like those dual concentric pots but how well do they work for 'swells'. Do you have the vol. on the outside?
Looks like you're using the new Grover tuners too. I really like them too.

Rick & Tucker ??

Here's Rick & Tucker amoungst my newly plated ... "Father's Day Present" ...

Phyllostachys vivax ... giant Chinese Timber Bamboo ... 70 foot tall / 5" diameter culms ... hardy to -5 F.

I grew up with a yard full of nothing but Bambusa vulgaris in WPB ...

I miss it more than the beach ...

Best Father's Day present yet ...

That sure is "purdy", Rick. I'll bet it sounds great with that "Big Bertha" pickup in there.

Nice workmanship on all those Dustpans.

What other colors might be in the works?

Thanks y'all ...

I like it ... very nice taper ... stacked 500K pots and I put on a 0.047 mfd cap. I have the volume on top.

But I've never been one for "swells" ... so we'll have to see what Bobby Ingano thinks about it ... at CityFolk ...

Sorry .. ... this one is spoken for. I have to re-pay my Shenandoah Valley Steel Guitar Summit debt ... or the "Boss" won't let me have another one ... next spring.

Don't even ask how I'm payin' off the accrued interest...

The Festival closes late on the 3rd ... with a giant fireworks show. Then the display has to be torn down, afterwards ...

So I'll still be on the road ... till late on the 4th.

Maserati Red ...

Thanks again for the kind words ... Dave "The Hula Monster" ... is comin' by Saturday to give her a test run.

Thanks for the particulars Rick, now I (probably) won't have to email you (again) and ask what values to use on my MRI.

Looks like great workmanship, Rick. The Steel and Tucker both.

Any chance of hearing it? Will you be using it for any numbers on HSGA?

Everyone speaks very highly of the quality built into your dustpans!

Fabulous looking guitar, Rick. One question and not a critique or anything, just wondering .... is it an optical illusion or is the bass string slightly outside the width of the fretboard?
