Not often you see this sort of thing, but this is a picture of six lap steels on the website of The 12th Fret in Toronto. I don't know how long they've been for sale, but I called about No. 5, the grey Ricky, and it was sold. Geo

Those are all great instruments George...I drool over the New Yorker! That Ric which you like is the identical model which Gordon Frreitas owned, (last year)...not sure if he still has it. Man, Gordon blew us away on that old Ric! Great all-round musician.

Yup Keoki, when I took lessons in 1948, that model seemed to be around readily. I loved the ole sound. My buddy that took lessons with me in Halifax still has his. Geo |

Is the Gibson a BR-6?
It looks very much like the same model my son owns.

Could be a br-4, the plastic cover is missing. the br-4 has a black cleff, the br-6 doesn't.
