I have a DVD of Waylon Jennings on Austin City Limits. Mr Mooney was playing a double neck sho-bud Super pro. I noticed he played every song on the bottom neck(super good I might add) Im wondering what tuning he was using as it didnt sound like c6? I only wish I was half the steeler he is. Ived watched it at least a dozen times. Anyone know?

Hi Ronnie, Moon has his E9 on the bottom neck. My first real pedal steel (Fender 1000) had the E9 on the bottom neck, as did Moon. My next pedal steel was a ZB with E9 on the top neck, and I left it there rather than go to the hassle of changing it out. Moon says he likes E9 on the bottom neck so that he can see the pedals better. Jody.

Yes Ronny you need to make it to the TSGA Jamboree next year at the DFW Sheraton Grand. Moon was there this year and was great! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy The whole show was great! There are alot of clips with Moon playing with Waylon on YouTube.com. I have some really good pictures of Moon, Hughey, and Emmons, plus a whole bunch others. Take Care!

I hope to make it to Dallas next year. I was going this year but some problems came up. Even had my room booked. I WILL try again.
