I'm hoping a few of my friends will join us at the Fiske. I've talked to Bobby Lee and Pete Walthall, and Pete said he would talk to Jack Matthews to see if he would come. So maybe the line up is growing.
I hope we can get a bunch of players down there this year. Harold and Betty and Country Jack are good folk ,so let's don't let em down steel players.
If you can make this show, please sign in here on the forum, or let Billy or somebody know your coming so we can get an idea of how many steel players will be there. Very Happy

Terry

Hey Terry, Billy &Jack: I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm trying to get Prentis Takewell of Monroe to sign up to play. Also Jimmy Lewis. Hope Ken Rollins & maybe Danny too can make it. Maybe Jerry Lee Newberry & Austin. Wouldn't it be something if Buck Grantham & Miss Mitzy showed up.
See you the 14 th. Andy H.

Yes Terry, still got the black Emmons & the brown ProII Shobud. Both have a pretty good sound, play so easy you hardly know when you push a pedal or knee lever. Thinking about bringing both7 maybe sell one of them. Don't play enough anymore to justify keeping 12 Steel Guitars. See you in Oak Grove.

i did hear from bob holley.
he will be there.
he is the brother of original buckeroo, the late doyle holley.
not only is he on the money of oklahoma swing singers
he is quite the historian of an era, coming from a family of entertainers from out of the dust bowl to the bakersfield sound and all that has come since.
among the ones that paved the way. the real deal/
