WAVs are larger than MP3s, by a factor of 10 or more, depending on the type of MP3.

Wavs are larger than MP3s and because of the way the ipod buffers songs, you'll experience a shorter battery life by using WAVs, all other things equal.

Sonny, I would definitley convert to mp3 format and around 128kbps should sound pretty good.

A three minute stereo wav file is just over 30Mb's, same file in 128kbps mp3 is approx 1/10th of that.
