Hi ya'all
This was the best show I think I have ever been to.
I enjoyed it more than I ever would have thought. I met and shook hands with some of the finest gentlemen and ladies I have every met.

I have to tell you this; all of you guys and gals are just stand up people.

Mr. John Hughey who told me not to change a thing I am doing, which meant the world to me, Reese Anderson my good friend from MSA(Just stunning work isn't it?). Chuck Back and the entire Desert Rose bunch. Bud Carter, John Fabion & Ann Fabion of Carter Steel Guitars (who allowed me to sit in and play for a couple hours in the Carter room), John Moody from Texas Case, Bruce Zumsteg of ZumSteel WOW! what a nice guitar, Thom from Steel Seat (the best feeling seat I ever had the pleasure of sitting on), All the guys from Lone Star Steel, Gary and everyone from Rains, Jerry Harkins and his group from Jerry Rig (Great new product), Ray from EasyCom (Covers and Cases), Mike Scott and his Mom from Scottys, Mike Brown and Marshall from Peavey (who fixed my electronic distortion problem in about 3 minutes),John from Peterson (Who was there for me with a replacement part), Everyone from Jackson Steel Guitar (Man! what a beautiful guitar) (oh and I can't leave out my old buddy Steve Lamb and company (The Boss) from Lamb Music in Ft Worth Texas (who's always there when I need him). My new buddy Autry Andress from Plano Texas (Someone please give this good man a pickin job), Herb Stiener from Austin Texas and all the hill country bunch. My hometown buddys from Wichita & South Central Kansas including Curt Shoemaker (What a Great new CD), And all the guys from the Springfield MO and Oklahoma areas.

It was a breath of fresh air talking to all of you and I'm just honored to have met each and every one of you. If I left anyone out which I know I did (Sorry) thanks again for your kind words and friendship. Too many fine folks to mention by name.

I did miss Mike Headrick who I thought would be there (with his fantastic tracks)but I couldn't find him, and my friend Ronnie Miller who I thought might play for us (Ronnie I sent you an email).
I sure hope you guys are alright oh, I'm sure you are!
Derby Steel?
Williams Steel?
Mullens or was Herby Wallace the rep?
Excel?
Sho Pro ?
Did I miss them?

Best $25.00 I ever spent.
Well OK I spent a heck of a lot more than that, but you know what I mean.
I wish I could have bought all of your beautiful guitars today but you know it can't be done.
You all know where I am if you need anything at all just let me know!
God Bless all of you.
Your friend and bud

David,

Sorry to miss you. I was in the Hallway going toward the backstage area until Saturday morning, then I was moved into the Mullen Room. Next year I hope I will be easier to find!

All the best,

Mike H
