Up for sale is one of my pride and joys. This 1999 Fender Strat Plus w/Red lace sensor PU's,and sperzel locking tuners is drop dead gorgeous. There are no issues at all with this guitar.Comes complete with a tremolo bar,and HSC. Asking $900.00. I need to sell this to buy a S10 steel.Any questions or more pics feel free to ask. You won't be dissappointed on this Fender.--Jim

Jim, nice looking Strat but is doesn't look like a Strat plus to me. It does not have a LSR roller nut and it does have string trees on the headstock. Looks like an America Standard upgraded with Lace Sensors and Locking tuners. At any rate a very nice guitar. I could be wrong but I own one.

Best,

Rich

Rich, - That was my first question too when I bought this. After researching about this guitar,I found out Plus's were only built with a LSR or Wilkinson nut. When I got this is was classified as a PLUS,anyway this guitar just got a nice cleaning and strings, with a new ivory nut put on. My luthier, who happens to be Springsteen/Bon Jovi/James Taylor, and many more pros happens to think a roller nut isn't such a great idea. Your stuck using only 1 string gauge, and metal on metal on a strat neck isn't the way to go.So,let's call this an UPGRADED PLUS,I should have noted that.-Thanks,Jim

For what it's worth, I remember that the roller nut was not factory installed on some Plus or Deluxe Fenders~ it came bagged up in the accessories compartment of the HSC... When I worked at a dealer, I remember a couple of Tele's coming in this way. It was the buyers discression whether or not they wanted the roller nut~ most opted out.
