I am looking for a nice pair of new or used monitors for my home recording set up.

5" would be good.

I have a pair of Even TR-8XL monitors. I love them. You can probably find a good used pair on eBay for $300 or less.

Roland makes a set of powered studio monitor for around 70 or 80 bucks. You can get 'em a the Guitar Center. Most any other music store should be able to order them......JH in Va.
