I know there are a few of you guys that may have tried a different speaker in the Steel King. Anybody out there who can give me their opinion of the Black Widow in a Steel King?

Anyone? I have two Nashville 400's arriving soon and I am going to compare with the King, but I'm about to try a Black Widow first.

If you do a search on the new forum, or possibly the old one, there was a discussion about this subject not very long ago.I personally think the BW greatly improves the sound of the amp..others dont.

Thanks, Trap! I did just that and found what I was looking for, basically, that everybody has their own opinion or ear, so I guess I'll just give it a try and see what me ear tells me. Thanks again!

Alan,

I recently installed a BW 1502-4 DT in a FSK of mine and found it very much to my liking! It also cut some weight as an added bonus. Try it...I think you'll like it Smile

Fred,

It felt a good five pounds lighter but I'm not sure of the exact difference. Perhaps someone else will chime in with an exact weight difference.
