Listening to XM Radio and just heard "Jealous Heart" by Bobby Flores from a CD "Direct From Blanco Country". The steel player did a great ride on a full break and I was curious who the steeler might be. Thanks Very Happy

Glen, I have the CD and it credits Randy Reinhardt for steel on Jealous Heart. He also plays on most of the other tunes on that CD.

I sure wish Randy would do a CD himself on that good 'ol Emmons that I wish he would sell me. IMO, Randy is super on either neck; has anyone checked out the work that he did on Christine Mims' CD?

Charles i agree totally that Randy should do a CD. i can tell you from standing onstage with the guy every week that Randy is in a class by himself. chops, feel, musical vocabulary, Randy's got it all and his musical taste is quite varied. each gig he comes up with something i hadn't heard him play before and that TONE! alot of guys would like to get their hands on that guitar but i don't see Ran parting with it anytime soon. besides providing me with enough steel guitar information to keep me busy for a lifetime, he's also one of my favorite human beings.

Dave, doesn't Randy play the piano? I believe that I read that somewhere. I can only believe that you must be a great musician also, keeping pace with that band. I play Bobby's CDs in my car all the time.

Boy is he ever! Dave Biller is a scary-good guitar player, and I bet he is tearing up the steel now too....Shocked

I remember years ago, Randy was playing tunes on the piano from the Emmons "Black Album". He was playing the steel licks on piano before we ever knew he could play steel. Hey Randy, get in touch with me. None of these new guys even know who I am... take care, and hope to talk with you soon. Ron E

I got a cd from a Texas girl"Leighan Cortes" who just released a cd produced by Bobby Flores.
It's a terrific,100%hardcore country cd,with Randy Reinhard,Dickey Overby and mr Bobby Flores himself on pedal steel.
on drums,my personal favorite steel player"Jim Loessberg"
Leighan is a Texas beauty with a voice you can only find in Texas......
