I asked this question once before years ago, and got the answer. I wish I had written it down.
Anyway, my job involves typing a chemical formula or two. When I type the formula for something like hydrochloric acid(HCl), the C is automatically changed to lower case, which is incorrect in chemistry lingo. I type capitol H, capitol C, lower case l, then when I hit the spacebar it changes the C to lower case. It also does it when typing HBr. Anyone know how prevent this from happening? Not that big of a deal but it kinda bugs me.
Thanks,
Ken |

If it is in Word, then that possibly is an AutoCorrect setting. |

Ok, that is a setting under Tools/QuickCorrect/Format-As-You-Go.
Uncheck the box for "Correct TWo IRregular CApitals etc." |
