Chris,

Are you using B11 tuning for Kayton's Rag on this clip with Big Sandy?

Just wondering how you got the dom 9, 13 and diminished - perhaps some old fashioned slants? You sound fantastic!

Thanks a ton!
Drew

Hi, its not Chris, but a big admirer of him and his natural musical talent.
I remember him coming to my house, not that many years ago, when he had never played a Steel before, getting on my Gibson console and after a couple of days, sounding better than me !
Track down where he's playing and spend some time with a really knowledgable, enthusiastic and approachable guy. I'm sure he'll share his tunnings etc with you and you are right, that YT vid just cuts through you.
Best
