Anyone tried this companies product? AMT. I spoke to Marty on the phone and he was very knowledgable and cordial (for a New Jersey guy Wink )

Bump. This mic looks like a good option for a reso guitar. I'd like to know if anyone has used one, too.

Keep on pickin'!

The only pickups I've seen for a Weissenborn are David Lindley's Sunrise and Ben Harper's Mag Mic. But both of them play in LOUD environements a lot.

On my Superior Weissenborn I have two pickups, a Sunrise magnetic pickup in the sound hole and a iBeam Baggs transducer under the bridge. I run a stereo cord to a Marshall acoustic amp and the signal is routed to two separate channels where I can dial in the tone from each pickup. I am more than satisfied with this setup and get a lot of compliments on the sound.

For my reso mic I use the Audio Technica ATM35 (now replaced by the ATM-350) which comes with a mini gooseneck that clamps right on to the cone cover.
