That's funny. I got called just yesterday for a sub gig (Jeff Lampert's regular gig) by a guitarist who was JD's photographer for this album. It was his idea, I guess, to take JD & the New Yorker to the Empire diner (classic Deco diner) for a photo shoot. I was able to dig up the following thread with this photo to show the guy:

HowardR-Great photo and those Hats! Biut the real star is that National New Yorker, Just like the one I played in about 1938, lots of jobs and more power and great tone .Better that the old supro I started with.....al
