I had one tuning machine damaged in shipment on a '74 Emmons. I would like to replace it.

Anyone have a lead for getting these? I checked out the Kluson website, but I wasn't sure they had one that matched the deluxe tuners. Are the modern Klusons the same as the old ones?

If you think I should scrap the Kluson tuners and put Pings or Gotohs on it, tell me. I was thinking that way and was advised to keep it original for tone and resale concerns.

Burton, I owe you a favor and I have some Klusons. Is it the small button or the Keystone "Butterfly" and which string is it on?

Jerry, you are awesome, and a pleasure to do business with.

It is the butterfly deluxe model. It's on String 6 of the C neck.

Do you think the original keys are part of the p/p sound, or would you upgrade them all to something modern down the road?

Thanks a million!!!

Burton, I would gladly trade a pair of tuning heads with Grover keys for your pair of heads with the Klusons if you wanted Grovers but I would strongly recommend that you keep it original. I will send the key to you tomorrow or if you would rather I could send it to Bobby Bowman.

Let's keep it original (and country). Mailing to Bobby might be best.

THANKS!
