I thought the one I restored was rough when I bought it but it looked like a cherry compared to this one!

I might be crazy or stupid...perhaps a mixture of the two, I think I might just bid on this one. There's some potential... there's also alot of discouraging work to fix this one up into a player too.

Then again, if I got something like that, I could fix it up my way & as long as I got it back in service, it would be a vast improvement.

I've seen well used antique sleds that were in alot nicer shape. I'm surprised that someone didn't drop that thing off at the dump.

Decisions, Decisions.

Well I don't know about the re-chroming issues, but it may look very well with the metal parts 'Powder Coated'
Quite utilitarian !!

The seasoned wood will make excellent kindlin! You can paint strip the rest of the parts, and sell on eBay. But, only if you feel like messing with it.

I say TORCH IT!

And lay it to rest.

Looks like some woodboring beetles got to the one neck... Either that or it was stringbending with coathangars...

Looks like somebody got mad at their guitar, took a shotgun to it, tied it to a car bumper and dragged it into town, then threw down into a damp basement. Forty years ago.

Yeesh. Buy it for parts.

Sold for $999. Maybe the buyer wants it for parts. But even in today's crazy market I don't think there are $1000 in parts on this pile of junk. Every metal part is severely rusted, or painted black, or broken, or has holes drilled in it. There's no guarantee that the electronics are original. The body looks like woodpeckers pecked holes in it. I can't look anymore... it hurts my eyes.
