f/s 70's pro -1.I have decided to take the plunge and am buying a new williams.Bill had a new sunburst available and I bought it .I've gone back and forth over what to buy, and I only want to lie about it once.
I bought this sho-bud at a local store and it is in good shape for its age.It has laquer checking but otherwise it plays good.
3 pedals 4 knees.

I hope this doesn't take up too much bandwith

thanks Ken

Besides the LKL and LKR levers and bell cranks, the undercarriage looks original to me. My guess is that it was originally 3+2 with Marrs knees added later?

A lot of players consider these the best of the 'Buds: barrels behind two-hole pullers, like the highly-coveted Pro II's of the early '70's. It also has the coil tap pickup, and pins instead of slots on the changer. And blonde.......what else do you want? Cool

oops,I just paid 1200.00 for this steel and a sho-bud volume pedal 2 month ago.I've had the pot replaced in the pedal.
The guitar is totally original except for the 2 added knees with no dings or dents other than the checking.I expect it was taken in an out of the cold.I
I guess it's not totaly original if it has added knees.
2 are teardrop and 2 are something else.
I'd need to get 1100.00for the guitar

thanks Ken

Al can testify to how good those roundfronts sound. I glad it's nighttime so I'm not tempted to call a high interest, fast cash finance company right this minute. Smile

All I can say is...wow! Gorgeous Williams! Even the colors of the fretboard markers have been improved. How's it sound and feel, Ken? Totally beautiful.
