Just to let you know that Manny K. Fernandez' latest CD
"Hawiian Memories" took first place in the Traditional Hawaiian category. That's three awards in three years! I'm proud to have been able to play a small part in this project.
CONGRATULATIONS Manny K! |

THANK YOU Bob..........very nice of you but we both know that even on a good day, I don't sound anything at all like my hero of steel gutiar. I'm sad about that fact o'life but I have to live with it.
Just back-up.....that's all I contributed........on steel guitar. |

I do want to thank each of you for having taken the time to submit your vote for Mannie k. Fernandez and his #3rd cd...Hawaiian Memories. All three cd's have been first place winners and I'm sure every one of your votes contributed immensely to this CD's success.
For me it has been a particularly rewarding musical experience. It never got me to the Grand Ole Opry or even Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention but I did manage a trip to Hawaii and got to play on that famous beach, thanks to our Forumite FREIND Jeff Au Hoy.
Haven't touched any of my g'tars on the wall of steel for more than a year now. My musical qualifications just aren't enough I guess, to get me that regular fun filled gig.
So with that........... I thank you ALL.......... It's been great to have friends like you. |
