I'm not sure where this should go. Why doesn' some of you inventive handy with tools come up with an insert that will fit inside the legs of asteel with a center hole in the insert that will alow a roller inserted. Also a "C" clamp or somethin to fit on the side to allow for a chord to pull the instrument. Yu could remove the rollers when you are where you age going to play. Also has anyonr put roilers on ther heay case

Robert, their is a company that builds cases with rollers on them and if you really need to roll your steel to where you will be playing, wouldn't rollers be more of a problem than solution? There could be steps to the stage, then the putting on and taking off the rollers. If you can't lift your steel from the area where you set it up, maybe someone could do it for you, much easier than rollers. JMO of coarse.

Keyless steels will slide quite easily when turned upside down onto their strings.
Don't try it with a keyed steel, though, the keys gouge into the stage, and the proprieter doesn't like it Wink
