At the Dallas show, I fell in love with two things: the finish that was on Paul Franklin's Superslide, and seeing the first double 12.

So...

I just ordered my 3rd Superslide - the Double 12 with the Paul Franklin finish.

What a wonderful instrument.

Congrats! Now, once you get the D-12, we're going to have to get you in a 12-step program to deal with your "aquisition" problem!

I don't have a problem. Who said I had a problem? Have you been talking to my wife.

My pusher...uh, dealer...uh, Reece. Reece says I'm just fine. My hands always tremble like that when I go to Dallas.

It's not called hand trembling: it's called tremolo. Use it while it's there !

What does this Paul Franklin finish look like?

It looks like a natural wood finish.
Quite beautiful.

If Kyle or Reece are reading this, they might be able to discribe it better.

Try as I might, I can't find a sound clip of a Superslide anywhere. Can someone point me to one? Thanks!

Bill,

if you ever want to come visit spain...you can use it as a catamaran.

I am assuming it will be Reece´s C6, and modified E9 (no top G# but chromatic C# as well as D# and F#. ¿Right?

For private lessons you really need one that has the two necks in opposite directions so you could sit in front of Reece, knee to knee with the guitar shared on your laps.

Jeff,

I've experimented with a number of bullet bars and stevens type bars. In the end, I feel much more comfortable with a stevens type bar. I think I use an SP-2, if that is the right model name.

Reece has come up with a 13th tuning. That is the one I'm starting with: where ever Reece goes, I follow.

Congratulations Ron, Welcome to the family. You will love this instrument.

Currently I run mine through a Pod into a Steel King. And I'm in heaven.

My Steel King is loaned to a good friend wanting to try one out. I have a Nashville 112, only using a little delay & reverb. Truly amazing tone & sustain.

Hi Bill!

Can you send a photo from your MSA Lap with the Franklin finish?

Which one has Paul Franklin? A 6,8,10 or twelve-String?

Thanks
Ed
