Hi!
I will buy a Lap Steel, but which model, single or double neck, 6, 8, 10 or 12 string?
I saw the DVD from "The Players".WOW!!
The Lap Steel that Paul Franklin play on this DVD seems like a Melobar Teleratt, in my opinion. Excellent playing, Paul and a very nice guitar!
What's your opinion? Have you any suggestions?
Thank you for your input!
Ed

Guten Tag or Guten Abend which ever is the case when you read this, Ed.
Help us to help you by indicating how much you want to spend on a guitar?
What is your experience level?
What kind of music do you want to play?
Aloha,

I would buy a vintage Rick or if you want a new one, I like the harmos. I play blues so I would buy a 6 sting and tune it to open D & G, but you might want to by an 8 string and leave the two end strings off.
