| If you have not been in Jim's store lately, your are in for a plesant surprise. Jim has inlarged his facility and his work shop. He can fix and repair just about all problems related to the steel. His selection of instruments for sale has greatly increased. However the warm and friendly atmosphere has not changed. |

| Thanks guys- perhaps this should be in the Pedal Steel section but I do currently have 38 pedal steels and 12 lap steels in stock. The pedal steels are no longer crammed together like so many pancakes- my workspace got too small so I rented the space next to me as well and cut a hole in the wall that separated the two. Way more relaxed for me--. |

| I do have a web site here but it is purely informational and just says what I do- if I kept the inventory current it would make me have to toil as it changes on a daily basis and I'd rather tinker, teach, and play~~ |

Jim,
Maybe there's a friend or family member, good with computers, who wouldn't mind coming in once a week to shoot and post the latest inventory for a few dollars or something. I, for one, would love to get a peek at what you have down there, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The extra sales would more than cover the nominal fee to keep it updated.
How about.........pleeeeaaasssse?

Boy, would I love to visit. I hear it's the hangout for top players.
On a trip to sunny CA, it would be a must-see attraction.
Jim has just been helping me with the mechanics of my MSA via email. He's a knowledgable and helpful guy.

| Jim, Chris is probably right about listing the steels you have there. It would increase your sales, which would more than pay for the expense of having someone put them in the computer and keep it up. Plus it would open up more steels to select from for those of us looking for a used steel. As chris stated "pleeease!!" Thanks Art I am looking for a used sho-bud at this time. |

Hola Jim and anyone reading this post!!
I'd been meaning to get down there to check out Jim's shop for quite a while now.
I did a new years gig in utah, and the trailer (with all my gear in it) ended up in San Diego. I went down to pick it all up, and on the drive back to LA, decided it was time to stop in and see the shop.
What a great time! Thanks Jim for all of your help, especially diagnosing and fixing up my push pull problem. It's staying in tune better than ever now.
I must've played every guitar in that shop that day! I've been to other shops where I felt intimidated, and didn't want to sit at any of the guitars for fear of sounding bad in front of "Big Deal" Nashville pickers........Jim made me feel right at home and relaxed.
It was quite eye-opening for me to sit behind all of the different guitars there and feel/hear the the differences in them.
I'm looking foreward to seeing the new, expanded shop. Especially if there's a S or SD-10 Laquer burst pushpull in there!!!!
