Very Happy I have played through a friends 1000 and now want one. Have there been any mods done since they first came out. If I can find a used one that would be fine, but I would want it up to date. Am pretty new at this PSG game. Love this forum!!! Mike C.

Mike I don't think there have been any changes.I have had the Nashville 1000 for about 4 years now. I use a PX 300 as a slave behind the 1000 and have plenti of power to spare. Smile

There was a minor change in the reverb circuitry but that's all that I know about.

Mine has the change but I can't tell any difference between it and a friend's that does not have the change.

Yes. But as noted, I can't really tell a difference between mine with the 3 springs and my friend's with the 2 springs.

There is one mod that you can do that sweetens the tone and that's the OP mod, just change out 5 little chips in the pre.
I did it to my 2 nash 112s and you notice the diff right away, very good mod. Incase you did'nt know, the 1000 and the 112 have the same preamp. Contact Ken Fox and he should be able to help you on this.

The Nashville 1000 reverb pan was changed to the 3 spring early on. We had already introduced the Nashville 112 amp with a 3-spring pan and made the decision to change the 1000 as well so. There is a slight sound difference between the two pans, but in my opinion, it is a minor difference.

Thank you to all who responded to my question concerning mods to the 1000. Thank you to Mike Brown for your input. I thought the 1000 I got to use was just fine the way it was. BIGGGGG difference from my NV 400. Thanks again. Mike C. Very Happy
