I have an old Twin that I may have injured . I've been driving it hard lately (vol on 8, and it's the 100 watt version), plus a lot of loading & unolading. One of the speakers is rattling, especially with the low notes on the back neck. For repairs, or if I have to replace the speaker(s), who do you trust in Nashville for these old Fenders? |

Kyle, I'm not real big on self-promotion, but I do some work out of my house on vintage amps, Fenders in particular, with less overhead than the storefront shops. I worked as a bench tech for Matchless Amplifiers in the mid-90s before moving here to work as a fulltime road player. My local refs include Kevin "Swine" Grantt (A-list studio bass), Shane Sutton (guitar with Joe Nichols) and Danny Bentley at Steel Guitar Nashville. Email me if I can help. _________________ Visit my music page at http://facebook.com/drfried |

Kyle,
Not that I'm trying to steer you away from Mike, but you might give Fergie a call. He's got a shop over in Berry Hill just down the treet from Jim Glaser's. I don't have his number handy but he's located on East Iris Drive. He does good work on those older Fender tube amps. |
