Joe Bielinski here at 92.1 KTFW radio in the Fort Worth area. Please listen to the Tommy Morrell Tribute show tomorrow (Feb. 4) starting at 1:30 central. Folks outside the Fort Worth area can listen online at www.countrygoldradio.com . Starting the show off will be an incredible interview with Tommy I did about 3 years ago. To my knowledge, it is one if not the only taped interview of Tommy in existence. It is a classic and a must-hear. Also on the show live will be Weldon Myrick, Lloyd Green, John Hughey, and Leon Rausch to reflect on Tommy's memory. I hope you all give it a listen. Tommy was a great friend and musician we are all going to miss.

My best,
Joe Bielinski

Joe, thanks for the heads up. I will be listening tomorrow at 1:30pm. I'm logged on to your station right now, but the audio is somewhat distorted. I don't know if the problem is on your end or mine, but all the other stations I listen to online are OK. I hope things improve before tomorrow's show.

Can someone pop in a tape or otherwise record this? I'll gladly pay shipping etc. I can't get the stream to work.

Joe, I listened to your tribute until my connection went bad a little before 3:00. I enjoyed it and I sure appreciate you doing it for Tommy. I wish I could get your station over the regular air ways. You play the good stuff. I can't go the stuff on FM.

Good show Joe....The interviews were excellent. Keep up the good work. Audio here is distorted...sounds like overdriven.

Steve, I recorded it on my hard drive off the internet. The sound is somewhat distorted as I said earlier, but not too bad.
I can burn a CD for you if you like.

Joe -

I'm 'in angst' that I had to be away
from my computor during the broadcast.

Any chance of getting the InterView
from you on a CD (or other media) ?

Gladly compensate you for your effort.

Thanx,
~Russ

Joe, I started listening to your show on the internet about an hour before you did the tribute. Thanks so much for the post, otherwise I would have never been lucky enough to hear it. The interview you did with Tom was some really great stories. I got to see him play a couple of times at St Louis and it surely was a treat to see him.

I listened until about 5 PM and enjoyed all of it. I marked your link into my favorites. Thank you for a great service to the steel community.
