i Thought I should take some time to say a great big "THANKS" to all of you that sent in words of encouragement during the time I experienced Parkinsons disease symptoms. I have made a pretty good recovery with the use of some new meds, but who knows how long it will last?
I would like to say thanks to Rick Alexander for all the help he has given during this difficult time. His efforts in transfering some of my work to CD format, has led to some of you to hear some of it, many thanks Rick.
Well, again thanks to you all,and mahalo nui loa.

PHIL Very Happy

Phil, I am glad to hear that you are improving. I thought that this would be a good time to tell you that your beautiful recording of Waipio posted on the HSGA site inspired me (a fairly new steeler) to order the tab from Scotty's music. I am pleased to see how closely the tab (J Byrd) follows your recording, but of course, it will take me years to get your fine sound. (if ever) Thanks and God's blessings.
