I have a goodrich ph-2 light pedal. But I dont see any light inside it when I plug it in to use. People have told me you should see the light when you plug it in. It look likes some person may have took out the light circut an added a volume pot..I dont like the pot it seems to be either all on or all off. Not smooth increase in volume when you mash the gas. I have be told by some that this pedal has the match box impedence circutry inside the pedal is this corret..I would appreciate opimions from some of you folks...hope the pic uploads. I bought the pedal years ago at a guitar swap meet.

Your "light" pedal is now a "pot" pedal. Chances are the wrong pot was installed. |

You should have a 500K ohm, audio/log taper pot. I'll leave it to someone else to advise where to get it. I haven't replaced one for many years. But, I will tell you that just any pot won't do. You'll need a dureable one that will last millions of cycles (turnings). _________________ Best regards,

Crowbear,
Yes, you're right! I have seen the light!
BTW: Tom Bradshaw has some pots for sale that are doing the job for those who have bought them. Do a search for Tom under links above. ($25.00 including shipping) |

Bob, I ordered a pot from Tom and it was such an improvement over the original that I had him send another for my spare pedal. You can't beat the price and the prompt shipment.
